TikTok Shop’s European chief Kevin Chen reportedly set to leave

Kevin Chen, the executive overseeing TikTok's e-commerce operations in Europe, is preparing to leave ByteDance, according to a report by STAR Market Daily. Chen previously served as executive president of Didi's ride-hailing business before joining ByteDance in late 2020 and led various businesses including Huoshan short-video and news app Jinri Toutiao.

The reported departure marks another leadership change in TikTok's international shopping business, which may impact the company's social commerce strategies in Europe.
